George Clooney and his wife Amal recently welcomed twins into their home. Ella and Alexander are healthy and happy, and the new parents are thrilled to have the children in their lives. Amal is healthy as well, but the couple recently joked that George might need some time to recover. The twins are the first children for the couple.
Although George is 56, he is embracing being an older parent for the first time. He even joked around about waiting until he was a bit older to start a family as Amal is 39 and an older parent as well. George has friends who are the same age who already have children, some who have grandchildren. They are done with having children at this point in their lives while George and his wife are just getting things started.
The happy couple enjoyed dinner with a few friends before the twins were born and were talking about how everyone’s children are in college or are starting a career. George’s friends are supportive of the idea of him having children later in life. They have offered advice for the parents and want them to know that they will enjoy having kids in the home. George Clooney has always been a man who accepts challenges, so raising two children at the same time at this age is a walk in the park for him. He’s excited for his family and to share the experience with his wife. They want to begin the adventure together and know that it will be nothing but joy with a few challenges along the way.
George and Amal have been married for two years. They had a ceremony in Italy, surrounded by their friends and family. There has been no word yet from either George or Amal as to whether they want to expand their family with more children in the future.
